What is the legal basis for data processing?

The processing of personal data is based on the consent of individuals and is in the legitimate interests of the company to ensure the full functioning of the auction portal. We collect accounting data in order to be able to perform the activities specified in regulatory enactments.

Who do we share data with?

Utrupe.lv passes the information about the person who wins the auction and buys the product to its true owner, who has put their product up for utrupe.lv auction. Utrupe.lv has signed a cooperation agreement with the owner.

At this stage, the full name of the buyer and the buyer’s confirmed banking details are transferred. This data can be used by the owner for invoicing, distance registration with the Road Traffic Safety Directorate, and stored in their historical register, accounting and other databases.

How long do we keep the data?

All data about a person’s activities are stored for three years or as long as the person is registered on utrupe.lv in order to be able to determine the user’s activity history, possibly grant discounts, be able to resolve conflicts and be able to answer various questions of customers and the responsible authorities.

The data and documents required for accounting are stored in accordance with the Accounting Law.

What are my rights?

  • The user has the right to contact utrupe.lv staff about incorrect data processing, which may occur due to human errors. We will try to find solutions to problems and correct mistakes.
  • In the My Account section, the user will be able to retrieve all digitised data about themselves that utrupe.lv holds (except accounting documents).
  • The user has the right to receive all data about themselves by sending an electronically signed application to info@conventus.lv or by mailing it to the legal address of SIA “Konsultatīvā sabiedrība“Conventus”” – Ausekļa Street 1-5, Riga, LV-1010. The application must meet the requirements of the GDPR. The application must include the name, surname, personal identity number, and the telephone number and e-mail registered with utrupe.lv, so that it is possible to clearly identify the requester as a specific user. The person is entitled to receive a response within one month after the submission of the application.
  • The user has the right to delete their profile in the My Account section. Clicking the Delete Account button will deactivate user access to the account and delete the banking details. Some information is stored for one week. If you want to restore the account, it is possible to do so within a week from the moment of deletion, informing the utrupe.lv representatives about it. When the profile is permanently deleted, all digitised data is deleted immediately, some of it is anonymised. Information about purchases is not deleted, but is stored for accounting purposes in accordance with the procedures specified in regulatory enactments.

How can I object?

We recommend notifying utrupe.lv staff of any problems and objections by phone or by writing to info@conventus.lv. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have and resolve any disagreements as quickly as possible.
